St. Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded 1067 COVID-19 cases, it has emerged the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Simone Keizer-Beache, granted an exemption for testing requirements to a group of persons on a private plane travelling from a high-risk country.
Why did she do this?
The CMO dodged the question whether they tested positive for COVID-19, claiming confidentiality of the passengers.
What is she hiding? Why protect these private plane passengers?
We all know the CMO’s husband is Glen Beache, the Chief Executive Officer of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) and a former ULP Minister of Tourism under the Gonsalves family from 2005-2010.
Did she approve the exemption because her husband is in charge of tourism? Why did she exempt tourists and not Vincentians? One rule for Gonsalves’ friends and another for our people.
COVID-19 is a virus that is spreading like wildfire, people are dying – may god rest their souls – and Dr Beache is helping our private plane passengers.
Ralph Gonsalves has already admitted he should have shut the borders to prevent the spread of COVID-19 – we could have avoided tragic deaths.
Tourism levels has been going down under Glens watch and has gotten worst since covid. Will the CMO continue to be guided by her inept husband and his close friend Ralph Gonsalves.
Does Dr Beache put people or profit first?
